Erin McAlister
Yogini. Glassblower. Natural Woman.
Raised by two teachers, it was ingrained in my DNA to teach. By the age of 20, I substitute teaching at a high school while studying business at Montclair State University. I began to live alternatively in my early twenties; studying Yoga steadily, living a farm life complete with large scale gardens and animals. After a few years, I found my self sitting quietly in the garden observing the mind with nothing more than the instinct to do so. From here, I continued my Yoga studies to integrate union into my everyday life through sadhana (daily practice).

GLASS ART & JEWELRY DESIGN
In Normandy Beach, NJ, I learned glassblowing informally watching rods and tubes turn into jewelry, pipes and twisted little fish and mermaids. I was a moth to the flame. Equipped with scraps of glass, I began making beads and pendants on a National torch in the cold of winter 2003. Finding my own style came slowly by incorporating sand from my feet, using my grandfather's boat making tools and experimenting frivolously. After a year of selling my creations as GLASSY, I took a job in New York City at the rapidly growing Yoga-inspired jewelry company, Satya Jewelry to learn more about the industry.
In 2006, I left NYC to pursue my life long dream to be who God created me to be. My passion to be free, creative and working independently led me to the western shores of Ocean Beach, San Diego, California. Living close to the ocean's rhythms, I create Tiny Seven Glass and teach Yoga while planning to build a home with recycled and sustainable materials.
May our paths cross in peace and harmony,
